Malaysia Literacy in Financial Education Association (MyLIFE), Max Capital Management (MCM), Money Compass Media, Celik Wang and uLearnMONEY have joined together to organise MyMALAYSIA Week 2020 from 14 to 20 September 2020.
MyMALAYSIA Week 2020 coincided with this year’s 57th Malaysia Day celebrations, connecting all Malaysians through a platform of financial literacy with the theme of “Spirit of My Malaysia, Financial Literacy for All”. The event had the aim to reach out to all Malaysians about the importance of financial literacy, to provide them with choice information and education about how to manage their financial needs, and at the same time foster strong Malaysian unity.
Being one of the strong supporters and collaborators of the Financial Education Network (FEN), MyMALAYSIA Week 2020 included a varied series of activities that were all held on the SME e-Fair online platform.
The events held were the MyMALAYSIA Financial e-Fair, where visitors can visit interactive e-booths by exhibitors from various financial institutions; the MyMALAYSIA Financial Webinar in the four main languages of the country; the MyMALAYSIA Financial Literacy Quiz Contest, with a participation of 22 university students from nine local universities; the MyMALAYSIA Musical Concert, a live online performance by talented musicians from all over Malaysia; the MyMALAYSIA Colouring Contest had over 90 submissions of school students from 16 different educational institutions around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, from kindergarten up to secondary school levels.
For those who are interested to know more about MyMALAYSIA Week 2020, please visit the official website.
Reflecting the colours of our Malaysian flag, Jalur Gemilang, the MyMALAYSIA Week logo symbolises a united country, with no divide or distinction as seen in the ball.
The star and the crescent moon remind us of our National Principles.
The upper red and white stripes represent the fire that lives in all of us, as how we love our country.
And the lower red and white stripes are in the form of a hand that holds the country together, with much care and love.
Singers:
Bagaimana untuk menghadapi cabaran pengurusan kewangan semasa pandemik COVID-19?
How to survive and become financially secure during the
COVID-19 pandemic?
22 students from 9 local universities but only 2 will stand a chance to win in this battle of financial literacy.
